Since 1974 I have worked to increase the awareness of programs for the protection and advancement of quality of life for all. In 1996 I founded the Lehigh Acres Social Service Center, Inc. to assist those in the community of Lehigh Acres and it's surrounding communities in obtaining assistance in various programs including, Federal, State, County and Pharmaceutical Companies for free or reduced medications. I have received numerous awards for my work including the Presidential Points of Light, Senatorial awards and 100 Woman of America. My work has been done in most cases as a free service and continue to assist individuals through my writing to make aware of the hazards from Fraud, and Exploitation.
