Kenneth Saundry, Jr., a court appointed receiver for Real Estate Advisory Services and Michael Timmerman, CRE, SRA of Fishkind & Associates will present the latest commercial market trends and strategies for preserving equity in a seminar for Southwest Florida attorneys and bankers on Wednesday, February 10 at The Club at Mediterra.
Michael Timmerman’s presentation will track pricing, occupancy and absorption trends for the region’s industrial, office and retail sectors and explain how those trends have impacted Southwest Florida’s economy. Ken Saundry will offer a historical perspective on the effects of the fundamental shift from an “asset based” economy to an “income based” economy, and detail how the de-leveraging in the economy has affected property owners and lenders in the Southwest Florida commercial real estate market. He will review the traditional and non-traditional roles of a Court Appointed Receiver in assisting financial institutions and property owners to preserve equity and enhance the value of assets.
