Seussabration! at Bell Tower Shops

In honor of Dr. Seuss’ 106th birthday, Bell Tower Shops is hosting Seussabration! Saturday, Feb. 27 from 2 to 8 p.m. Fans, both young and old, are invited to attend the free event in honor of the late Theodor Seuss Geisel.

Festivities, games and crafts taking place from 2 to 6 p.m. include sock puppet making, cupcake decorating, a magician, costumed characters, ice cream, and entertainment and sing-a-long with Andy Wahlberg. Local celebrities – featuring Francesca Donlan, The News-Press; Cliff Smith, United Way of Lee, Hendry and Glades; and Lois Thome, WINK TV – will read Dr. Seuss books throughout the afternoon. The highlight of the evening, the outdoor movie, Horton Hears a Who, and s’mores are scheduled to begin at 6 p.m. Lawn chairs are suggested and coolers are not permitted.
