Who gains when the fees are lifted? The investors, the bankers, the builders and the wannabe 'public-servants'.
Who gets shafted? The taxpayers. They pay for the improvements, the costs for added local services, the cost of more government and the taxpayers will continue to pay for it all because none of the profits from such ventures EVER shake out at the end. It is a perpetual, bottom-less money pit. The plan does not benefit the working stiffs who pay for it all.
