The idea of having an officer on-duty weekends has some credibility but your investigative approach to the 'problem' is Barney Fyfe-ish.

Vehicles parked illegally, no matter where they are, is not a matter for concern. We all know (except for possibly yourselves) that vehicles have what is called a license plate and they also have Vehicle Identification Numbers. ANY enforcement officer can request this info from ANY police agency. They tell me this info can be had in a matter of seconds nowadays. This info (owner, make, model, address, etc) would seemingly be invaluable to an enforcement officer; no matter when the request was submitted or obtained.

I guess what I am saying is we don't need to incorporate a new city to get info that a child could obtain. Or are you clowns just funnin' us?
