Part 2) She says, “In addition to the Homestead core plan, another activity center is planned on Joel Blvd., in the area of the old Admiral Lehigh Hotel and other offices and near Lake Lehigh. Plans call for the establishment of business enterprise, homes and apartments, beautification projects and more.” She is referring to the area around the $3M SINK-HOLE they want taxpayers to buy, clean-up, maintain and then turn over to OTHER developers so they can reap the benefits. And you wonder why I think she is just a puppet for the incorporation crowd? Another thought: I believe this lady has made a buck or two over the years and has her fingers here-and-there in the ‘system’. Do you know what NEOPTISM means? It means things ‘get- passed-on’ from generation-to-generation, much like the Mann crowd. Know what I mean? I smell a rat or two. No personal attack intended; I’ve been thru this before.

Part 1) This lady has been around the block but she is, in my opinion, just another puppet being utilized by the incorporation-crowd to create a “new city”. Yep, MORE government is surely the resolve to our problems. She says, “A movement a few years back to incorporate the community lost because many residents believed they would have to pay more taxes, which incorporation planners said was not true.” According to her, incorporation comes with no costs?! A whole new bureaucracy, new buildings, vehicles, machinery, pensions, roads, sidewalks, street-lites, posies all around, sewer-and-water connections, insurance and a myriad of other expenditures would come at NO EXPENSE?! Currently LA PAYS TO Lee county $13M in taxes and currently LA GETS BACK $80M FROM the county. Do you wonder why the county, state and feds want LA to incorporate? With incorporation those costs would then become OURS, plus the GUARANTEED COSTS for our ‘new city’.
