Butch: As I recall you lost a lot of your personal investments in the purported '08 'crash'. I told you then your investments weren't 'lost', they were stolen along with the foreclosure frauds and a kazillion other things. You gave no credence to what I told you.

What you and Lewis don't seem to understand is that Obama-care was funded in the bill's passage. How could that be? Is the halfrican a soothsayer? Truth: in part, the investments you had; losses from public employee investments along with cuts in Medicare and SS are allocated to fund the socialist's health program. All you folks want to talk about is rich v. poor; as if any of you have any real answers.

couldn't agree more - unfortunately most of the problem and fixes are "political" - one that stands out is the comment about getting pregnant yet the same people usually oppose providing care or education to prevent the situation or in the case it does happen for what ever reason they want to revoke the choice to abort the situation then complain they need to support the child the rest of their life - it will always be hard to close the wealth gap when our economy is based on the people making average wages when so many fall below that number - if we try to raise the minimum that cuts into the profits of the companies and there goes the stock price and the guy working so hard behind the desk can't make as much - and so on and so on - can the cycle be broken? not without a better way to provide an education or vocation - that takes some ingenuity and money - both of which need to be applied in a better manner than we now have in place - unfortunately that reverts right back
