To the editor: I am a retired federal employee and this year I finally got a whopping 2 percent raise in my Social Security and retirement benefits....

federal employees should not be allowed to start collecting retirement checks until they turn 65. It is nonsense to allow fed employees to retire after 20 yrs and receive pensions, Florida is full of 40 something former govt employees who are retired on pensions, fed employees need to be put on social security like the rest of the usa, need to end free health care for govt employees, they must pay for their own medical care like the rest of us!
