Have you discovered Chinese drywall in your Lehigh home?

POSTED: October 17, 2009

If you have discovered problems in your home because of Chinese drywall, contact Mel Toadvine, the editor of The Lehigh Acres Citizen. You can phone him and leave a message a 368-3944 or email him at: mtoadvine@breezenewspapers.com.

Also call him if your homeowners' insurance company has dropped you because of the presence of Chinese drywall. Such drywall is suspected of being used in many homes in Lehigh during the building boom when American made drywall was in short supply.

Chinese drywall is turning up in more and more states. Over 1500 cases to the CPSC already, and that's probably only the tip of the iceberg.

No one knows what it is going to take to fix this mess. Houses will likely need to be gutted down to the studs, all metal components replaced. Not to mention the health affects.

Lots of good information here: ***********chinesedrywall****/. Stay up to date on this important issue.
