Beginning in the April 21 edition of The Lehigh Acres Citizen and continuing for two weeks, readers will have the opportunity to vote for the Best of Lehigh on the ballot page in the center of the paper.
The Best of Lehigh awards have been sought out for the past 13 or so years. Winners of the Best of Lehigh usually hang their awards in their places of business and many use them in their advertising.
For the next two weeks, ballots will appear in the "pull-out" and readers are encouraged to vote for their favorite businesses in town.
Several advertisers have purchased space around the ballots hoping you will choose them.
After the contest comes to an end and the ballots are counted, the winners will be announced some time in May.
Readers should read the rules this year as there are a few minor changes. One is that you must mail your entry to The Citizen at 411 Lee Blvd., Suite 1, Lehigh Acres, FL., 3396 and that there be only one "ballot" in an envelope. You can do it each of the two weeks that the ballots appear.
Certificates will be presented to the winners of the Best of Lehigh for 2010 and the winners will be published in The Citizen.
Also, readers must fill out at least 25 of the categories or the ballot will not be counted.
All ballots should be received by The Citizen by May 7 at which time counting will begin.
