Police need public's help pinning pharmacy prowlers

June 30, 2010
Lehigh Acres Citizen

Southwest Florida Crime Stoppers is asking for the public's help identifying two men who broke into a Bonita Springs pharmacy early this morning, after squeezing through a drive through window.

Detectives say two men, dressed in all black, used a crowbar to pry open the window at the drive through of the CVS Pharmacy at 27841 Crown Lake Boulevard. Their entry into the building triggered both an audible alarm, as well as an interior motion detector.

The alarm company for CVS stated they had a visual of the suspects inside the store, thanks to surveillance cameras. The suspects ransacked the pharmacy counter, and kicked out a partition wall. They left the store approximately one minute later with an undisclosed amount of items.

Both men are described as 5 feet, 10 inches, 185 pounds. One of the men was wearing a black baseball cap with white lettering, and the other possibly had a stocking pulled over his face.

Anyone with information on the pharmacy break-in, and the identity and current whereabouts of the suspects, are asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-780-TIPS (8477). All callers will remain anonymous and will be eligible for up to $1,000 in cash rewards. Tips may also be made online at www.swflcrimestoppers.org.
