Members of the Lee Memorial Health System Foundation has announce that Christin Collins has joined their staff as senior director of development. In her new capacity, Collins will raise funding for a variety of health system projects including the construction of the new Children's Hospital of Southwest Florida to be located on the grounds of HealthPark in Fort Myers.
"I am delighted to be part of this incredible organization. Helping to fund such projects as the new life-saving facility for the children of our community is very exciting and I am passionate about this opportunity. I hope my contacts and relationships throughout Southwest Florida will join me in supporting this truly important cause," Collins said.

Collins holds a degree in secondary education from the University of Connecticut. She has lived in Southwest Florida since 1999 and has given back to the community through various leadership and volunteer positions at nonprofit organizations such as PACE Center for Girls Lee County (vice-chair), Love That Dress! (chair), Heights Foundation (board member), Red Cross (celebrity dancer for Starstruck 2011), Girls Going Places (mentor), Circle of Red (chair), Go Red (ELT committee) and Heartwalk (ELT committee).
