Candace Baranowski Sundby is back at it again.

Sundby has been called one of the local artistic treasures of Lehigh and she was the leading lyric soprano with the Saarbruecken Germany Opera house and sang with orchestras in France, Germany and Switzerland.

On March 13, the Lehigh Singers will be directed by Sundby and accompanied by Marian Wegge, another local artistic treasure.

Get ready to rock-n-roll. The annual spring concert will feature hit songs of the 50s and 60s and jitterbugging' in the aisles.

The performance will be at 2 p.m. at Faith Lutheran Church at 705 E. Leeland Heights Blvd. in Lehigh.

A free-will offering will be taken and the net proceeds will go to benefit Lehigh Community Services, said LaVon Koenig, a member of the board of directors of the Lehigh Singers.

Sundby now teaches at Edison State College and is their voice and chorus professor. In addition, she owns and teaches at her Cayuga Music Studio in Lehigh Acres and is the founding and musical director of the Lehigh Children's Chorus and the music director of the Lehigh Singers.
