Pride is shown for Majestic Golf Club activities

By Staff | May 15, 2011

To The Editor:

Majestic Golf Club is not just a golf course, but a very big player in community involvement. The “Gold Link” website lists Majestic at three and half stars, but the community rates it at five stars.

There are 204 units in two home associations, all of them are not occupied, and yet the involvement here is tremendous whether it is local politics or a charity fundraiser.

The family of Majestic always pulled through and gets things done.

The golf course has given back to the Lehigh area more than $60,000 on an annual basis.

They have hosted more than 30 golf outings that also gave back to charity. The course has donated money and gifts to many fundraisers, and has supported all or most of the local nonprofit organizations.

This includes the use of its banquet facility “The Crown Room” so that they may provide enough room for dances, dinners, or meetings.

Majestic was instrumental, and a large donor to the Hope Hospice drive for a new facility in Lehigh Acres, moving it from a location in a shopping mall to its present 45,000 square feet state-of-the arts facility.

Along with Divots Bar and Grill, the course holds various food drives, toy drives which help community services such as Laces of Love, and Lehigh Community Services.

They are also a large supporter of the Susan G. Komen cancer funds. Our local Dr. Michael Tucker’s golf outings boasts as the largest golf outing in Lehigh Acres, and the two car shows that are a large draw for South Florida.

The course has also been instrumental in the formation of a lot of grass root organizations such as The Arts of the Inland.

So whether you want to play golf, do karaoke on Friday or Saturday nights, enjoy the best Philly cheese steaks in town, or just have a party. Come to Majestic Golf Club where “We Care.”
