Lehigh Acres business leaders are invited to a free event that is aimed at helping them to learn how to secure business loans. The program is being put on by SCORE, a group of retired business leaders, whose offices are housed at 3650 Colonial Blvd. in Suite 231.
Dale A. Johnson, SCORE's chapter chairman said topics to be specifically addressed include:
Developing a specific purpose of the loan
Deciding upon the amount for a loan
Deciding upon a strategic time for the loan
What documents are needed from the borrower.
What is the payment level of the borrower?
What type of collateral can the borrower provide?
Will the borrower be approved?
What is the bank's perspective?
The program is planned for 5:30 p.m. on Monday, Aug. 29 at the Microtel Inn at 1320 Business Way in Lehigh Acres. Complimentary appetizers will be followed by the presentation.
Several area organizations, including the Lehigh Acres chamber of Commerce, are sponsoring this no cost event.
