Southwest Florida International Airport (RSW) is changing parking rates to give more options to long-term parkers. The changes to on-site airport parking rates became effective on Oct. 1 as part of the Lee County Port Authority 2012 fiscal year budget. The new parking rates at Southwest Florida International Airport are as follows:

Long-term Parking

o Per Hour: $2; Daily Maximum: $11

o First Week: $60 (Reduced from $62)

o Daily Rate After First Week: $4 (Reduced from $11)

Short-term Parking

o First 20 Minutes: Free; Next 20 Minutes: $2

o One Hour: $3

o Daily Maximum: $16

All parking rates include taxes and fees.

The airport offers ample, close, convenient and affordable parking to suit your travel needs. Parking is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week and does not require a reservation. The Short-term lot offers covered garage parking directly across from the terminal building. Long-term parking is located in a large surface lot beyond the garage and offers prompt, friendly shuttle service and luggage assistance between your vehicle and the terminal. As part of our customer service programs, free vehicle services are available with all airport parking, such as a jump starts, help locating a vehicle or tire inflations.

Southwest Florida International Airport served more than 7.5 million passengers in 2010 and is one of the top 50 U.S. airports for passenger traffic. No ad valorem (property) taxes are used for airport operation or construction. For more information, log onto www.flylcpa.com.
