Concert is free at Fountain Crest on Oct. 30

The Lehigh Acres Concert Association will present a free concert for the public on Sunday, Oct. 30 at 2:30 p.m. at Fountain Crest retirement communist on Taylor Rd. Extension, just off of Homestead Rd.

Besides vocal presentations, the concert will feature fiddle, dulcimer, and guitar music. Joyce Waltman, a long-time resident of Lehigh is a teacher of fiddle and dulcimer and will perform along with one of her students, Alexis Marcchia.

Alexis is a senior student at Riverdale High School.

Rounding out the string portion of the concert will be Dave Clayton who recently retired to Lehigh after a lifetime of music making including experience in San Francisco and Nashville.

Vocal selections will be sung by Fountain Crests residents Ralph Boettger and George McCollum. Also participating in the concert will be middle school students Blair Siciliano who will both sing and play the piano.

Wood Dulaney, a former resident of Fountain Crest will serve as master of ceremonies and an accompanist for the vocalists Julian Sundby and Jim Kreger.
