Donate T-shirt for recycling

November 10, 2011
Lehigh Acres Citizen

The Disney Store is working to be more Earth friendly. Disney Store guests can help by donating any clean T-shirt to recycle into new items. Any old T-shirt can be donated, they do not have to be Disney T-shirts. Anyone who brings an old T-shirt to the store from November 11-15, 2011 will receive a 25 percent discount off their total purchase of merchandise, excluding park tickets, gift cards, and movies.

The Disney Store goal is to help save trees and give purpose to worn out T-shirts by using the shirt fibers to make paper products. Disney stores and parks use recycled materials when available, and give store and park guests the opportunity to recycle clothes, cans, bottles and paper whenever possible.

The Disney Store at Edison Mall is open daily. Store hours are 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday Saturday. On Sunday the store is open 11:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. The Disney Store is located between Macy's I and Macy's II.
