Florida Rep and the Alliance for the Arts has announced that enrollment is now open for its popular Wild Winter Arts Camp for students in grades K-12.

Presented by Florida Rep and hosted on the Alliance campus, the five-day arts intensive camp runs Dec. 26-30 and culminates with a performance for family and friends in the Alliance's Foulds Theatre.

The camp is led by professional performing and visual artists, Rachael Endrizzi, Claire K. Guy and Ray Hernandez, and focuses on adapting classic stories and fairy tales. Daily classes will be held in visual art, acting, storytelling and improvisation, and campers will get a taste of the professional art world and have plenty of time for fun. Space is limited, and both Florida Rep and the Alliance encourage parents to act quickly.

Enrollment is $175 for kids grades K-6, and $150 for campers in grades 7-12, who can register to be Stars-In-Training. The camp is held Monday-Thursday 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., and 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Friday, with the final performance at 3 p.m. on the 30. Drop-off begins at 8:30a.m. and pick-up is between 4-4:15p.m. Post-camp care is available until 5p.m. for an additional $25 per week.

To enroll visit Florida Rep's Education Department online at, or by calling 239-332-4665, Ext. 20.

Education at Florida Rep is located in the Historic Arcade Theatre in the Fort Myers River District, and the Wild Winter Arts Camp is held at the Alliance for the arts at 10091 McGregor Blvd. in Fort Myers. Do not contact the Alliance about enrollment.
