One Cape boys' soccer team extended its scoreless win streak while another saw its streak come to an end Monday night.

The Mariner Tritons had not allowed a goal to any of their first five opponents this season. That ended in the 70th minute of Monday's opening-round game of the Sarasota Thanksgiving Tournament when Tampa Jesuit scored in a 3-1 loss to the Tritons.

Goalkeeper Jacob Olmstead saved 17 of the 18 shots on goal.

"Our defense played outstanding," said Tritons coach Martin Cardenas. "They really limited Jesuit's chances inside the box."

Toby Lara, Justin Kuchle, Isiah Romano, Glenn Garron and Josh Teeter were the defenders cited by Cardenas.

The Tritons (5-0-1) play again in the three-day tournament at 8 p.m. Tuesday against an opponent to be determined.

Cape Coral 8, Dunbar 0: Cape Coral extended its scoreless win streak to four Monday night with its fourth shutout win.

Ronald Lind put a charge into the Seahawks with three goals on the night. Kevin Lopera, Caio Amaral, Vincent Brusco, Oscar Camacho and Kevin Hurley each added one goal and Marco Nardiello contributed three assists.

Senior goalkeeper Santi Villamil made seven saves to post his fourth shutout win. The Seahawks (4-0, 2-0 district) play at Riverdale Tuesday.

Girls Soccer

North Fort Myers 3, Riverdale 2: Facing a 2-0 deficit in the second half, Darian Leschewski led North Fort Myers back from the brink of defeat with three unanswered, unassisted goals to beat Riverdale.

Leschewski scored on a penalty kick and a free kick from outside the 18-yard box. The game-winner came on a run just inside the box with about three minutes remaining.

Goalkeeper Amy Pavy made 12 saves to preserve the win for the Red Knights (6-1), who play at Island Coast Tuesday night.

Charlotte 8, Island Coast 0: Rain and a lightning delay put a damper on Island Coast's bid for its first win of the season.

Trailing 1-0 at half, a lightning delay stopped play and ignited Charlotte to a mercy-rule victory.

The Gators (0-4) host North Fort Myers Tuesday night.

Cape Coral 9, Dunbar 1: Megan Terzak scored three goals to spark Cape Coral to victory over Dunbar.

Joanna Russell and Mallory Gerrero contributed two goals apiece while Ciarra-marie Hunter and Rebeka Manocci each added one.

The Seahawks (3-3) host Riverdale Tuesday night.

Bishop Verot 3, Cardinal Mooney 1: Kady Otzko, Kelly Williamson and Rebecca Abernethy scored goals to lead Bishop Verot to victory in Sarasota.

Sophie Quinonez, Kelly Reynolds and Alicia Santos each added one assist for the Vikings. Goalkeepers Cailyn Rizzo and Chrissie Gibson split time in the net and combined for 15 saves.

The Vikings (4-1-1) host Dunbar on Nov. 29.

Wrestling
