To The Editor:
The jury was out, and the verdict is now in the court of public opinion. Those who repeatedly used "unfair treatment" in the past must relinquish this old incorrect theme. With the support of the Lee County planning department, we must go forward. If platting changes come about, we will be able to do more, because larger land parcels will attract bigger commercial developers.
Now is the time for the two factions to come together. At least one of the two parties owes our five county commissioners thanks for a job well done. It is time to end the chronic ill founded complaints. A sense of appreciation for our commissioners may be in order if we want civil discourse to go forward.
