The Cape Coral Seahawks recorded their ninth shutout victory of the season Friday night, disposing of East Lee County 6-0 at Dave Warkentin Field.
Goalkeeper Santi Villamil made five saves to preserve the shutout as the unbeaten Seahawks improved to 11-0-1 overall.
"We try to keep things in perspective," said Seahawks coach Aldo Nardiello. "We just want to play well no matter the opponent."
Olivier Benedict and Nicolas Camacho connected for two goals apiece to lead the Seahawks. Nathan Stone and Ronald Lind added goals while Juan Cano offered two assists. Kevin Lopera, Stone and Camacho also had assists.
The Seahawks don't play again until Jan. 5 at Ida Baker.

Alexsys Vargas and Shannon Pearl added one goal apiece while keeper Amanda Kopale made one save to record the 13th shutout.
The Bulldogs (13-1-3) participate in Mariner's Triton Invitational on Thursday.
Fort Myers 4, North Fort Myers 0: North Fort Myers continues its late-season struggle, suffering a shutout loss to Fort Myers Friday night.
With the loss, the Red Knights are 2-3-1 in their last six games after an 8-1 start to the season.
Keeper Amy Pavy made 15 saves for the Knights (10-4-1), who do not play again until Jan. 10.
Bishop Verot 8, LaBelle 0: Kady Otzko and Paige Law knocked in two goals apiece Friday to spark Bishop Verot to a mercy-rule win.
Kelly Williams, Lauren Cento, Sofia Quinonez and Kelly Reynolds each added one goal. Rebecca Abernethy contributed with two assists as did Otzko. Williams and Reynolds also had assists.
Vikings goalkeepers Chryssie Gibson and Cailyn Rizzo shared time in the net and made three saves each.
The Vikings (8-1-1) don't play again until Jan. 5 against Ida Baker.
