To The Editor:
On the eve of the Presidential Preference Primary, I have only heard from the Republican hopefuls what President Obama does wrong.
That's everything, according to these candidates. The Republican slate is very good at critizing, but short on ideas. Only one presents solutions.
They are so radial to be scary. What is scarier is that Gingrich is gaining on a man that is more polished and experienced.
When ex-Governor Romney came to Lehigh last week, he pressed all the wrong buttons by choosing "foreclosures" to show he is for the little man.
However, he makes $150 million a year. Read again, million that is, so he has no sense of what unemployment or food stamps are about.
I heard everything Obama does in wrong, while Romney has put forth no ideas to correct only that he will change things.
Mitt Romney is polished and very well educated. He is a patriot.
The problem is his philosophers are not right for a county struggling out of recession. Policies that got us there are never going to be part of the solution.
I also resent that, in all the debates, the Republican candidates are in the bad habit of calling President Obama just "Obama." He is the President!
It is as though they don't respect the office they seek to win on Nov. 6, 2012.
