To the Editor:
This is to inform you that Citizens Against Increased Taxes support the plans to plant as many palm trees as possible and this has the support of all 330 members in Lehigh and 6,000 supporters and Lehigh voters also.
We also have noticed in plan "32" it is not mentioned even one time that the cost of all citizen costs should be borne by the Lee County's general fund, so as not to create an undue hardship on the citizens of Lehigh Acres, and that also includes the cost of sewer and water lines.
It was also noted the apartment multiple use housing projects have always been called "the slums of tomorrow" mostly in northern cities but more recently down south.
A perfect example of this type of housing in our area is called "Michigan Courts" which deteriorated into a drug infested crime ridden slum which had to be torn down."
