Lehigh Singers had a great concert on March 15

To the Editor:

There was lots of finger-snappin', toe-tapppin' and applause at Faith Lutheran Church in Lehigh when The Lehigh Singers performed their Spring Concert March 25. With songs like "It's Only a Paper Moon," "Bye, Bye Blackbird," and Andrew Lloyd Webber hits, The Lehigh Singers, under the direction of Candace Baranowski Sundby and accompanied by Marian Wegge, had the audience smiling and applauding.

Patron Robert Bowers started off the concert with "One Pair of Hands," and The Lehigh Children's Choir added their sweet voices to the program. The Bryan Starkweather Band and The Myakka River Blue Grass Band rounded out the concert with Jeff Sisco playing a mean fiddle for "The Orange Blossom Special."

We would like to thank the following for donating items for the Lehigh Singers Silent Auction fundraiser: Majestic Golf Course; James Kreger; Marcus Jansen; Carol and Galen Frantz; Doug Patterson Art; Merrilyn & Don Pennegor; Cayuga Studios; Betty Stickle; and Sally Gillespy.

Special thanks to our supporters and friends and especially Robert Bowers Accounting, Kiwanis Club of Lehigh, Dorothy Brane, Charles Appler, Majestic Golf Club, and Phillip and LaVon Koenig for their continued financial support.
