James J. Wollerman Sr., 73, of Lehigh Acres, died on April 22, 2012. A resident of Lehigh Acres for more than 33 years, he was born in Chicago, Illinois, to Lawrence and Erna Monicke Wollerman. He graduated from Steinmetz High School and served in the U.S. Army. He was a member of American Legion Post 323 and an avid bowler.
He is survived by his wife of eight years Virginia (Ginny), his mother, Erna Wollerman, Lehigh Acres; a brother, Lawrence (Linda), Crystal River, Ill., a sister, Gail Fricker (Lowell), Sebring, Fla.; children, James Jr. (Kathi Ann), Alva, Fla., David (Tina) Shelby Township, Mich., and T. J., Lehigh Acres.
Also surviving are grandchildren, Stefan, Matthew, Joshua, Lil T. J. and Jessica, two great grand daughters, Avalene and Payton, a sister-in-law, Caroline Kretzer, Fultonville, N.Y.; an aunt and uncle, Lucille and Orville Kurtz, Lehigh Acres; and several nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.
He is predeceased by wife, Elaine Cottini Wollerman and his father.
A memorial service will be held Monday, May 7, 2012 at Faith Evangelical Lutheran Church, 705 E. Leeland Heights Blvd, Lehigh Acres, at 11 a.m. with Pastor David B. Stacy officiating.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Faith Lutheran Church Legacy Fund or the charity of your choice.
Arrangements are being handled by Anderson-Patterson Cremation and Funeral Services, 2701 Lee Blvd, Lehigh Acres.
