To the Editor:
Once more! Paul Ryan's budget which is morally offensive to poor Americans and the employed middle class, becomes more and more egregious as it extends out over the length of this bill.
Total funds taken from the poor will be $5.3 trillion. At the same time he will be giving $4.3 trillion to the rich and very rich. I repeat, trillions.
The bishops of his own faith condemned this act as immoral. I cannot understand the Tea Party Caucus, which he is a member, numbers only 71 members. I am happy to say that Florida has only seven Tea Party members, one of which is Allen West who says liberal and progressive democrats are communists.
Listed are addresses and telephone numbers for the two U.S. congressmen who should not be reelected, as they do not represent the people of their districts. One other point is most of the U.S. House members have signed a statement promising to not raise taxes on the rich. (A statement by Grover Norquist).
We did not elect Grover Norquist to any office. One might ask who is he? Who is this person? He's not supposed to be running our country. Is he doing it by remote control? Our congress has a lot of unanswered questions.
You the voter must decide if he or she wants two more years of obstructionism. Write Paul Ryan at 1233 Longworth House Office Building, Independence and New Jersey Ave. SE, Washington, D.C., 20515. Phone is 202-225-3031. Allen West is at 1708 Longworth House Office Building, Independence and New Jersey Ave. SE, Washington, D.C. 20515. Phone is 202-225-3026.
