TAMPA - Inclement weather once again canceled the scheduled doubleheader between the Fort Myers Miracle and Tampa Yankees Friday night, including the resumption of the game postponed by rain on Wednesday.
Originally scheduled as a four-game series, the Miracle won the only game completed between the teams on Wednesday, 3-0. Fort Myers led 2-0 in the second game that was postponed in the middle of the fourth inning. It has been canceled.
The Miracle (23-35) remain on the road as they head to Palm Beach to meet the Cardinals at Roger Dean Stadium at 6:35 p.m. Saturday.
