Vernel J. Lambert, 91, of Lehigh Acres, died Saturday, June 16, 2012, at Hope Hospice in Lehigh Acres. She was born April 20, 1921, in Murray City, Ohio, a daughter of William Edgar and Addie (Jaynes) Bateman.
A resident of Lehigh Acres for the past six years, she previously lived in Murray City, Ohio. She was a member of the Lehigh Acres Christian Church.
She was the wife of the late LaVoyd Lambert.
She is survived by her son, Melvin R. Lambert of Lehigh Acres; three grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and her sister, Adrienne North of Grove City, Ohio.
A memorial service was held Wednesday, June 20, 2012, in the Lehigh Acres Christian Church.
