ECWCD budget meeting planned
The East County Water Control District will hold its next budget meeting at 6:30 p.m. on Monday, July 16.
ECWCD has moved its offices from 615 Williams Ave in Lehigh to 601 East County Lane, off of Lee Blvd. The meeting will be held in the new Desmond Barrett Meeting Room at the new location.
The hearing is open to the public. The original date for the hearing was on July 2, but was cancelled.
U.S. Sen. Bill Nelson to have rep in Lehigh
A representative of U.S. Bill Nelson will be in Lehigh Acres on Wednesday, July 11, from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. to talk with constituents about their concerns.
Diana McGee, the area representative will be at 25 Homestead Rd. North, in the meeting room of the Greater Lehigh Acres Chamber of Commerce. She will be able to assist constituents with any specific concerns, federal assistance, or questions.

ABWA meets on second Thursdays
The Lehigh Acres chapter of the American Business Women’s Association meets the second Thursday of the month at Bistro Rudy’s, at 1251 Taylor Lane, at 6 p.m. Bring your business cards for networking from 6:30 to 7 p.m. Dinner is $15 and includes a speaker presentation on topics affecting small businesses throughout the year. Register to vote at chamber on Saturdays
“FEVRR” will conduct voter registration from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturdays, now through September, in front of the Greater Lehigh Acres Chamber of Commerce building, located in the Lehigh Town Center on Alabama and Homestead roads. Eligible voters must be U.S. citizens and 17 years or older.
