Charlotte H. Phillips, 91, of Punta Gorda, formerly of Lehigh Acres, and Chardon, Ohio, died Wednesday, July 4, 2012. She was born in Perry, Ohio.
She moved to Florida in 1983. She was a lifetime member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary, and a member of the Hambden Grange #2482 and Peace River Grange #185. She was also a member of the Chardon and Lehigh Acres United Methodist Churches.
She worked as a teacher for Chardon Schools, and retired as an EKG technician with Geauga Community Hospital after 17 years.
Survivors include three daughters, Joanne (Richard) Babnick of Chardon, Ohio, Carolyn (William) Arwood of Kirtland, Ohio, and Norma (Jamie) White of Punta Gorda; five grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
Her husband, Robert Phillips, preceded her in death.
A memorial service for the couple will be held Aug. 16, 2012, at 10:30 a.m. at the Chardon United Methodist Church, at 515 North St. Chardon, Ohio.
