At 10:27 p.m. Aug. 10, the Lee County Sheriff's Office received a report of an armed robbery at the Star Food Mart, at 1416 Lee Blvd.
The victim told responding deputies a heavy set man wearing a black mask, black hood and white shorts entered the store and demanded money while pointing a gun. The victim gave the man an undisclosed amount of money and the man fled the scene.
A customer approaching the store witnessed the man run out of the store and get into a blue four-door Oldsmobile.

Officers in the area heard the dispatched call for the robbery and were able to locate a vehicle matching the description at the 7-11, at 530 Joel Blvd.
Frederick K. Mathieu, 16, of 1706 Robert Ave., was identified as the operator of the vehicle. He was also positively identified as the person seen running from the scene of the robbery, according to police.
Mathieu was taken into custody and charged with robbery with a firearm or weapon.
