August 22, 2012
By DEBRA MITCHELL , Lehigh Acres Citizen

On Aug. 17, seven local letter carriers were presented the million mile awards.

Fort Myers Postmaster Randy Stines and Suncoast District Manager Nancy Rettinhouse recognized the "Super Seven" for their accomplishments.

Each of the seven letter carriers achieved Million Mile status during their postal service career. In order to receive a million mile award, letter carriers must complete 30 years of service with not one accident on their record.

The "Super Seven" were honored with a presentation at the Page Field Post Office, at 2655 N Airport Road., Fort Myers.
