Johanna M. Morales, 56, of Lehigh Acres, died Thursday, Sept. 13, 2012. She was born Nov. 11, 1955, in Brooklyn, N.J., the daughter of Ulysses and Margarita (Bayon) Rivera.
She dedicated her life to her family and friends. She worked at Alva Middle School and Gateway Charter School. She loved helping people, especially her students.
She loved dancing, playing dominos and cooking, but most importantly she loved to be with her friends and family. She always said that her friends and family were always priority

She is survived by her mother, Margarita; devoted husband of 19 years, Julio; children, Jenifer (Frederick), Edgar and Jaycell; grandson, Samuel Julian, and another on the way; bothers, Ulysses Jr., Orlando and Octavio; four nephews; uncles; and many cousins.
She is preceded by death by her father, Ulysses Rivera.
A celebration of life was held Monday, Sept. 17, 2012, in the chapel at Anderson-Patterson Cremation and Funeral Services, at 2701 Lee Blvd., Lehigh Acres.
