Public encouraged to use ‘Town Hall’ on Internet

To the editor:

The Lee County Administration recently created Lee County Town Hall, a virtual meeting place to serve as an additional outreach for public input.

The web site officially launched a few weeks ago with two communication campaigns.

One is "Livable Lee," a Community development outreach about our comprehensive plan update. Draft updates to our Vision, Capital improvements, and Parks, Recreation and Open Space elements are posted along with an Instant Poll about them.

We'd like to encourage use of his new public engagement tool and we hope your readers will explore the suite at: as soon as possible and share their comments publicly. Of course, residents are also welcome to contact us private email, to let us know how you feel about our campaign and this new public engagement tool.

Lee County Town Hall is also hosting a community campaign encouraging users to post photos and comments about their favorite place in Lee County

This will familiarize people with the site and draw them to the Community Development campaign.
