Leslie Gerald Heinlen, 77, of Lehigh Acres, died Tuesday, Oct. 2, 2012, at Hope Hospice in Lehigh Acres. He was born July 11, 1935, in Sharon, Pa., the son of the late Robert Leslie Heinlen and Geraldine Shoemaker.
He married the former Elizabeth Montgomery 57 years ago in Sharpsville, Pa.
He leaves his wife, Elizabeth; daughters, Beth Jeffries and Linda (Chad) Bell; grandsons, Chad and Brian Jeffries and Zachary and Caleb Bell; granddaughters, Krista Jeffries and Jennifer Bell; and great-grandaughters, Brianna and Jaiden.
He was preceded in death by his parents; daughters, Jeanette and Janet Heinlen; and sister, Donna Heinlen Reed.
Services will be held from 4-6 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 7, 2012, at Coral Ridge Funeral Home in Cape Coral. Viewing and funeral at 11 a.m. Monday, Oct. 8, 2012. He will be buried in Hillcrest Memorial Park, in Hermitage, Pa, after an Oct. 12 service there.
