Air Force Senior Master Sgt. Karl T. Kile has retired from the U.S. Air Force.
In his last assignment, Kile served as the first sergeant assigned to the 314th Training Squadron at Presidio of Monterey, Calif. The senior master sergeant served in the military for 20 years.
He is the son of Karl T. Kile Sr., of Sylvania, Ga., and Deborah L. Kile, of Metter, Ga.
His wife, Kari A. Kile, is the daughter of Jahn A. Knutsen, of Lehigh Acres, and Janet Listak, of Social Circle, Ga.
Kile graduated in 1992 from Bryan County High School in Pembroke, Ga., and received a bachelor's degree in 2001 from Troy University in Montgomery, Ala. He also earned a master's degree in 2010 from the University of Maryland, Adelphi.
