Fitness center invites public to birthday bash

A Happy Birthday celebration is planned for Saturday, Dec. 1 at Max'd Out Fitness Center at 3114 Lee Blvd. and the public is invited. It is the fifth year anniversary of Max'd Out Fitness Center and there will be lots of food, fun and activities for everyone. Santa Claus will even be there for free family photos.

Michelle L. Brozio-Waldron, a spokesperson with Max'd Out, said they want to recognize and show appreciation to the community for their support of the business.

"Justin DelaCruz is a young business owner who lives in Lehigh. He opened the fitness studio on December 1, 2007. It was during one of the roughest economies our country has seen in decades and he has been able to keep the doors open," Brozio-Waldron said. The fitness club offers 24/7 service.

"Instead of celebrating the milestone with a cruise or pat on his back, Justin has decided to use his resources for a community event. All will be free to anyone, member or not, she said.

Local businesses have provided Justin with birthday gifts and he is going to be raffling them off for charity, Brozio-Waldron said.

Max'd Out is located near the Lee County Tax Collectors' Office.

"We want everyone to come out and have a great time; bring the family and your friends," Brozio-Waldron said. "We're just very excited about the celebration."
