The Veterans Park Recreation Center, at 55 Homestead Road S., releases the following activites for December:
Community Yard Sale
Register for your space now. This is a great way to sell your stuff.
Clean out your closets, garages and homes; turn your trash into another's treasure.
Take advantage of the crowds that a community yard sale can generate, or just stop by and shop until you drop.
The Community Yard Sale will be held Dec. 8 from 8 a.m.-1 p.m. in the parking lot.
Please bring your own tables or chairs, if needed.
The price is $5 per space. Maximum of three spaces per person. Set up starts at 7 a.m.
Adults must work the tables and children should be supervised at all times.

Breakfast with the Kringles
Come join us for a continental style breakfast, holiday crafts and a special visit with Mr. and Mrs. Kringle.
Each child will receive a present with their visit.
Be sure to bring a camera for your child's holiday photo shot.
Entertainment provided by the Susan Katz Dance Group.
The event takes place Dec. 15 from 10 a.m.-1 p.m.
Cost is $5 per child and includes breakfast, craft and present. Cost is $3 per adult or age 14 and older; only includes breakfast.
