The members of the Rotary Club of Lehigh Acres are allrested up from their annual Thanksgiving community dinner and ready to do it again for Christmas.
The club served approximately 500 local residents for Thanksgiving, and it is expecting the same for Christmas dinner.
The dinner is free to everyone in the community.
If you need a hot meal, if you live alone and have no place to go, you are invited. Or if you just do not feel like cooking and going through the hassles, you are invited.
In fact, everyone in Lehigh is invited - single folks, friends, family groups.
The dinner is served on Christmas day, beginning at 11 a.m. and continues until 2 p.m. The dinner will be held in the parish hall at St. Raphael's Church, located on Lee Boulevard.

There are plenty of parking spaces available.
St. Raphael's donates the room and the kitchen to the Rotary for the function.
In addition to turkey, there will be ham and all of the usual Christmas side dishes, including holiday desserts.
The club enjoys doing this and it is a gift to the community. The club adopted the project about six years ago from LA Social Services.
Lisa Goehle, director andfounder of LA Social Services started the project six years before that.
There will be a wishing well in the lobby that diners can donate to, if they want to help out. It is strictly voluntary.
