Persimmon Ridge Preserve, located on the west side of Persimmon Ridge Road in Alva, has a stewardship plan the public can view and offer input.
The Persimmon Ridge Preserve Land Stewardship Plan will be the topic of discussion at a 6 p.m. meeting Jan. 22 at the Riverdale Branch Library.
The plan - called a land stewardship plan - is the product of Lee County Land Stewardship staff. The plan will serve as a management guideline for the preserve for the next 10 years, from 2013-23.
After public review, the plan will be presented to the Lee County Board of County Commissioners for approval.
The stewardship plan is available for review until Jan. 22 at the Riverdale Public Library, at 2421 Buckingham Road, and online at: www.conservation2020.org/Pages/lspreservedetails.aspx?lspreserveID=1.
