Locals complete pilot ground school
Four people recently completed the private pilot ground school course at either Ida S. Baker High School or Cypress Lake High School. They included David Brown, of Lehigh Acres; Charles Harris, of Fort Myers; Wayne Reed, of Bokeelia; and Roger Rivera, of Lehigh Acres.
Completion of the school is one step in the process of obtaining a private pilot's license.
The classes are presented by Ed Fink, a master certified flight instructor, through the Lee County Adult/Community Education Program. For information on future classes, contact Fink at (239) 489-0443.
