Does your group, business or organization need a speaker for one of its regular or special meetings?
The United States Postal Service has individuals available to speak to Lee, Collier and Charlotte county groups on services the postal service offers, especially those that customers can accomplish from their own homes or businesses.
There is no charge for the presentation.
Topics presented include numerous online services available, such as filing a change of address, putting mail on hold, looking up a zip code, using Click-N-Ship to print postage labels for Priority or Express Mail packages with free delivery confirmation service and free carrier pickup.
In addition, computer users can learn how to create personalized greeting cards. Greetings can be created online at: usps.com using their own photos or a gallery of pre-designed greeting cards. The card can be mailed from the vendor site to the card maker or the recipient.
Small business owners can be shown how to produce a direct mail marketing piece online that can be printed and mailed from a vendor site. Information on producing neighborhood saturation mailings that do not require a mailing list is available.
By printing shipping labels online, postal customers can take advantage of quantity discounts on Priority and Express Mail.
Interested groups, businesses or organizations may make arrangements for the informational presentation by calling 573-9638.
