In an effort to meet the needs of busy families, Family Friday Nites began Jan. 4 with an extension of hours from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. and the option to purchase dinner from the new Rockin' Ray's Cafe.
While the Imaginarium will be closed on Mondays, it will be open on National holidays, including Feb. 16 for President's Day and May 27 for Memorial Day.
Guests of all ages will enjoy a day of discovery at the Imaginarium with more than 60 hands-on science exhibits and favorites like science shows, live animal encounters, and a Dinosaurs! 3-D movie to complement the special exhibition, Be the Dinosaur, extended through March.
Museum admission is $8 for students, $10 for seniors (ages 55 and up), and $12 for adults. Museum members and children 2 and under are always admitted at no charge.
The Imaginarium is located in historic Downtown Fort Myers at Cranford Avenue and Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard and is open 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Tuesdays through Saturdays, Fridays 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., and noon to 5 p.m. on Sundays.
