Reader claims democracy does not work
To the editor:
If the ‘Democratic’ actions described in this mailing are indeed endorsed either by yourselves or your owners I think this is sad. This mailing is fact: I was born in Detroit and I am intimately aware of what has been written and what has happened. In fact, I was right smack dab in the middle of these corruptive forces and saw these things firsthand.
Rep. Coleman A. Young, a future mayor in Detroit, as a sitting member of Congress in 1947, by his own words and admission was a “card-carrying member of the Communist Party.”
Our Republic was never intended to be a “Democracy” – that word and ideology was established and institutionalized by what I consider to have been Communist Franklin D. Roosevelt.
Democracy does not work: 1) Our Republic was founded on individual liberty, individual responsibility and we chose our leaders to follow the law of the land, the Constitution for the United States. Today, through “democracy” our treasonous “leaders” rule over us in commerce and the purported rule of law is predicated merely by a “vote of the people.”
That means there is no law; there is no history; there is a bastardized culture; there is no individual freedom; 2) It has been proven throughout history that when those that do not share in paying the costs of government are allowed to vote they will vote to fill their own guts at the expense of total collapse as its product. There is more.
