Lehigh Senior High School presents 'Aida'

Students from Lehigh Senior High School's Center for the Arts present Elton John and Tim Rice's "Aida."

Performances will be held May 2-4 and May 1011 at 6:30 p.m. Tickets are $5 for students and $7 for adults.

Digital Lee to host student projects

Digital Lee invites the public to enjoy a showcase of design and technology projects from students at Lee County Public Schools.

The event will be held from 6 to 10 p.m. May 3 at the Art of the Olympians Museum. The Mariner High jazz band will perform.

Digital Lee coincides with the Fort Myers Art Walk and Music Walk events, providing an opportunity for the community to experience innovative student work.

The event is open to Lee County's middle, high and post-secondary programs in graphic design, animation, publication design and Web design.

East Lee County to host annual golf tournament

The 4th Annual East Lee County High School Jaguar Golf Tournament will be held May 4 at River Hall Golf & Country Club in Alva; shotgun start at 8 a.m.

A barbecue lunch will be provided after the tournament.

Registration is $300 per foursome and $75 for individuals.

Sponsorships are available. All proceeds benefit the East Lee County High School Athletic Department.

Lehigh Senior plans 'Lightning Classic'

Lehigh Senior High School will host the 2013 "Lehigh Lightning Classic" Golf Tournament on June 1 at the Copperhead Golf Course in Lehigh Acres.

Registration is $250 per foursome and $65 for individuals. Fees include 18-holes of golf, cart, lunch and a chance to win various prizes.

Healthy Living Lab holding logo contest for high school students

The Lee County School District's Healthy Living Lab program brings healthy lifestyle information into the schools and invites students of all ages to discover healthy lifestyle choices.

The Healthy Living Lab is seeking the assistance of high school students in grades 9-12 to help it design a logo that promotes and communicates the feeling and mission of the program.

The student who designs the winning logo will receive a $100 check from the promotional team at the Healthy Living Lab.
