LCSO seeks information in Lehigh home invasion

On May 5, at approximately 11:55 p.m., Lee County Sheriff's Office deputies responded to 2407 Ted Ave. S. in reference to an attempted robbery and shooting.

Deputies met with the two victims who stated that two unknown black men carrying firearms entered the residence and attempted to rob them. During the altercation, one occupant was shot in the stomach.

The two men then fled the residence in an unknown direction.

The victim who was shot in the stomach was transported to an area hospital and is being treated for injuries that appear to be non-life threatening at this time.

The Lee County Sheriff's Office Major Crimes Unit responded to the scene and assumed the investigation.
