Band performs at Epcot
Local students recently became stars of their own Disney show as part of the Disney Performing Arts Program.
The Lehigh Senior High School Golden Lightning Band was one of the groups to travel to the Epcot at Walt Disney World Resort on April 19 to take part in the Future World March program.
Dance groups, choirs, ensembles and marching bands from around the world apply each year to perform as part of the Disney Performing Arts at Disneyland and the Walt Disney World Resorts.
Once selected, they are given the opportunity to perform at the resort for an international audience of theme park guests. Millions of performers have graced the stages in the more than 25 year history of the program.
