Lehigh Regional Medical Center announces the appointment of Julie G Banker as chief nursing executive.
Banker has been employed at the hospital as director of the medical surgical/joint academy units, since mid-2012. She relocated to Florida from Connecticut, where she was the director of nursing for a 130-bed facility.
Banker has been in the nursing profession for 24 years and holds a master's degree in nursing.
"We are extremely fortunate that Julie chose to relocate to Florida and join Lehigh Regional as director last year. I am very pleased that she has accepted the position of chief nursing executive," CEO Joanie Jeannette said. "Julie brings a wealth of experience in nursing leadership over the years, and will continue to improve on the current high quality of care that is delivered at Lehigh Regional Medical Center."
