Perfect state exam scores continue to roll in
After early reports indicated that 438 students in Lee County achieved a perfect score on an FCAT 2.0 subject area or End of Course exam, the Lee Couny School District has enthusiastically watched that number increase.
Last week, Bayshore Elementary learned that it had eight students receive a perfect score on an FCAT 2.0 exam. Since then, three additional schools have received word from the state that many of their students earned perfect scores on subject area tests, as well.
Harns Marsh Elementary has reported that six of its students received a perfect score on an FCAT 2.0 exam. The Sanibel School recently learned that 19 students earned perfect scores on an FCAT exam, with several students achieving perfect scores in two FCAT 2.0 subject areas. Fort Myers High School also has received word that 12 of their students received a perfect score on either an FCAT 2.0 subject area or End of Course exam.
The total number of perfect scores districtwide is 483.
